MONONOKE

Coming to Kickstarter 2021!

Mononoke is a semi-cooperative bluffing game where players take the role of heroes defending a cursed castle from bizarre spirits in feudal Japan. However, only one hero at a time can be on watch to see the spirit approach. Only they know the spirit's strength and whether it is friend or foe, and it's up to them to rally their allies... or lead them to their own destruction.

Using a unique blind bidding combat mechanic and partial information about your enemies, Mononoke is a parable about trust and teamwork. If the castle falls, no player can win, but if you play it too safe, you may be left in the dust as another player rises to the top.

Mononoke is a game for 3-6 players, 45-60 minutes.

Aminals

Aminals is a collaborative puzzle game that focuses on spatial reasoning. Players alternate turns against an AI opponent, each placing groups of dice on a central grid according to the abilities of their unique Aminal companions. The dice arrive on the grid in 4-piece units called "moves" and behave differently based on their color or "element". The Players lose if there is no more space to play a move on their turn, but can avoid this by removing dice from the board by completing lines, ala Tetris, or adjusting the value of dice to 1 or 6 by placing opposing elements (e.x. red "Flame" dice can be used to remove blue "Water" dice).
